The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

Trump Suggests Obama's Campaigning a Conflict of Interest Can a sitting president of the US interferes in the US general election? Maybe not. As president he should conduct himself as a president of all, not just the Democrats. He can, of course, voice his personal opinion or views that even favor Mrs Clinton but can not actively stump for her at rallies. If he actively campaign for Hillary what he says must not be viewed as a statement from the president but just as from an ordinary man, a Democrat, and therefor his opinion should be treated as such (a biased statement which carries no weight or influence, and futile). The best way to send feedback back to Obama is to defy his message by letting Hillary Clinton (the intended beneficiary) lose that particular state and let Trump win. There's no better way to encourage Obama to be neutral. Checked.
Obama will not dare to continue to stump for Mrs. Clinton if his efforts are futile or counter- productive. Checked.
If he persists, which seems likely, because he's too obsessed about salvaging his Obamacare that he throws caution to the wind, Trump will be an unintended beneficiary. And a grateful Trump shouts from afar to President Obama: "Much Obliged!" Checked.
Seriously, the events the last few days may have made the Democratic party's nominee so jitery that she now copies wholesale Obama's highly effective though dirty and underhand way he destroyed his opponents in 2008 presidential election. She roped in old women who held some grudges against the New York tycoon - then she brought in Alicia Machado the former Miss Universe who almost failed to qualify to participate in the pageant but for Trump's help; she also roped in some Hollywood stars who are fast fading into sunset! Actors like Richard Gere who are not only old but looked very old, and probably unemployed too, so why should they mince their words; "to hell with Trump!" they say, "At least, Mrs. Clinton humbled herself to approach us for endorsement. Who cares about whether she or her husband is highly corrupted!" So, in the end, he repeated after the script that Mrs. Clinton handed him and memorized them. Next came Jay Z and Byonce who also remembered their lyric well! Checked.
This couple who could fill any arenas where they perform are short of one thing, though. Intelligence! In music industry you don't need to be rocket scientists to succeed. A good voice (vocal) will do; but looks can also help fill stadiums, lucky for Byonce for that, for that matter. Byonce has both. That's why she made it, spectacularly. Checked.
And Hillary figured Byonce could help her garner a few voters; if not women music lovers, then men Byonce (body) lovers! She was right Byonce could help her - or shall we say wants to help her..for a reason. You know even super star like Byonce she's a human being too, not deity; she knows how to enjoy life, have feeling of pity or hatred; the last time she happened to have pity for the Democratic nominee, and was rewarded handsomely. May she continue to look young and have many more years of sex appeal to titillate audiences - I mean male audiences - to her concerts. When it's over may she face her karma God says; may she reaps what she sows! For her behavior in endorsing a woman who promised to bring in millions of Syrian refugees to cause trouble like they did or are currently doing in Europe. Oh, maybe Byonce is not aware that under Obama America has ceased to be a Christian country. And under Clinton (if she wins on Tuesday), the uproots and changes that Obama caused to America will be permanent; Muslims will in time outnumber Christians in their own country, and Sharia law will replace secular law. Checked.
Byonce is naive singer although she does sing well. That's all that she's capable of excelling in. She knows nothing about the woman who asks for her endorsement a woman who everyone knows is very corrupted. She should open her eyes and ears; never stay under a coconut shell if you want to interfere in politics.Checked.
What does know or doesn't know about Trump, and yet already forms her opinion and campaign against a man just because someone asks to. Does she know what if Hillary Clinton wins and becomes president and later appoints Obama the ex-president to be her adviser like Huma Abedin her aid. These two are very harmful to America that we love, she know that. For her information, Huma Abedin is part and parcel of the notorious Muslim Brotherhood and Muslim Sisterhood. She should google Muslim Brotherhood and Muslim Sisterhood, and even Huma Abedin - and she will be shocked. Checked.
At the height of the Arab Spring which he caused to start, Obama worked using his authority as US president to get rid of President Mubarak to pave the way for the Muslim Brotherhood to form the government to rule the country. Although Obama's project of replacing secular government with Islamic government, did not last long after the Egyptians woke up from their slumber and asked the Egyptian army to remove the MB president Mohammad Mursi, the damage had been done. President Mubarak was bundled out by Obama promising not to prosecute him later (the promise was not kept by Obama, Mubarak was treated badly by his stooge the Muslim Brotherhood. Byonce should avail herself with some information before being led blindly to the slaughterhouse like a sheep. She should Google how Obama ruled America for eight years. And don't forget to Google what Hillary Clinton promises if she's elected president. And Google what she did during her tenure as secretary of state. And google why Mrs. Clinton secretly used her own private email server to conduct government business, and never touched the government email account provided by the state department. While at it, Google how close is Huma Abedin to Hillary Clinton? And google can their relationship be more than meet the eye? If it's true as many websites and portals claimed they are lovers, then Mrs. Clinton shouldn't be allowed to be president, for obvious reason. It's hard not to believe it's true as even Yoko Ono, the wife of the late John Lennon of the British pop group claimed she was intimate with Hillary Clinton for sometime. And if Ms Huma so close with the secretary of state Hillary Clinton until she trusted Huma to use her private email server, can she be exposed to blackmail?. Can this Huma Abedin blackmail Clinton when she has become president and commander-in-chief? It is scary. Can this Muslim Brotherhood woman who grew up in Saudi Arabia and was a stooge of Hassan Al-Banna could be spying for the Muslim Brotherhood; her mother also head the Muslim Sisterhood. Checked.
According to Yoko Ono she not only had a fling with Hillary Clinton, it lasted a long time! Checked.
No wonder then, ladies and gentlemen, why the Democratic nominee promised if elected to allow a flood of Syrian refugees to enter the US. Because she surrounds herself with Muslim supremacist people. We don't know if it was Huma Abedin's idea to bring in millions of Syrians but it could be as Hillary gradually became influenced to show compassion for the victims of war (instigated by by Obama) just like Angela Merkel was taught/influenced by Obama to help the Muslim refugees. Checked.
But to be fair to Huma Abedin, Clinton didn't need to have Huma Abedin influence her to turn against Christianity, she had all the influencing she needs from Obama her boss for four years, and to whom she can not, will not, say no! Checked.
