minister was fruitless, but would keep trying. Keep trying for what? He should stop embarrassing the MCA and reducing its credibility further by continuing to beg despite being rebuffed earlier.
Again, this proved that the Malaysian Chinese Association has really completely lost its usefulness. If a small matter like Jonker Walk closure was beyond its power then, that 's it.

The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

President Obama Intervened To Help Hillary Clinton To Save His Obamacare
Obama's Warning Will Be Scoffed At As He Didn't Practice What He Preaches. Checked.
Obama warns the November election will profoundly impact American life and world stabilty as never before.
"The fate of the world will be on your shoulders." he said. He called on Democrats of all ethnic background to vote for Hillary Clinton, implying that he has no choice but to intervene to help his former secretary of state.
Trump said Mrs. Clinton had become "unhinged" in recent days.
Americans have not shown their inclination whom to send to the White House for the next four years, although early on the media which Trump accused of peddling phony poll results seemed to predict a Hillary Clinton win.
They didn't display any outward frenzy about their enthusiasm toward a particularcandidate. But news of Hillary's supporters disrupting Trump's rallies seemed to have died down.
News of the First Lady intervening in the private email server saga to shield Mrs. Clinton, and President Obama's warning, "Donald Trump is a threat to hard earned civil rights;
"The fate of the republic rests on your shoulders," President Obama told supporters in the key battleground state of North Carolina.
"The fate of the world is teetering and you, North Carolina, are going to have to make sure that we push it in the right direction.
"I am not on the ballot, but I tell you what - fairness is on the ballot; decency is on the ballot; justice is on the ballot; progress is on the ballot; our democracy is on the ballot."
President Obama seemed to have forgotten that due to his unrestrained overhauling of American white society which took hundred of years to build, to unhinge it, bend it, manipulate it to serve his purpose - his alone - makes his calling on Democrats of all ethnic background hard to believe.
His calling on American voters seemed void, that the fate of America or Republic according to him, or the fate of democracy, the fate of of the world that is teetering, and last but not least he said, the fate of justice, rest on your shoulders!" Isn't it too late for him to rant about good deeds now. Did he do any good deeds during his eight years? people want to ask.
His intervention to save the hide of his one time stooge was expected. The result on November 8, not only affects the world, it could harm his interests too. Donald Trump vowed to repeal the Obamacare if he's elected, and people are looking forward to see it coming true.
If his beloved Obamacare is cancelled, Obama had left no legacy (at all) that does not invoke hatred for him for his eight years in the White House.
The rest only makes him ashamed.
He killed thousands in Libya after setting up the No-Fly zone and NATO's unrestrained bombing of Libya; kicked out President Mubarak who kept the peace between Israel and the Palestinians for decades; paved the way for the Muslim Brotherhood to take over and was eventually toppled by massive demonstration by millions of Egyptians, which prompted the army to seize power; meddled in Syria to foment rebellion against President Assad who respected peace with the Jewish state and allowed his citizens of all faiths to live in peace.
So, it's understandable - no, imperative - for Obama to make sure Hillary Clinton wins in November. Otherwise, the Obamacare, the only legacy that he could possibly leave behind that was free of blood shed, would be in jeopardy.

Lim's Horrendous Success
Lim was likened to a Deity Or Tokong Due To His Unprecedented Achievement. Checked.
Looks like the chief minister's horrendous crime ...wait...no!.. actually...horrendous success. Checked.
I almost forget. Lim's spectacular achievement while good for Penang and Malaysia is a double-edge sword for him personally. For the more success he chalks up, the more discredited and disadvantaged his opponents become. And that spell doom for their political careers. You can expect that these his opponents wouldn't rest until they bring him down or, at least brought him down to (their) size. Checked.
There is a saying (I admit I don't know from where) I subscribe to and it says..."Work hard you should, if you want to succeed; but remember, succeed only to a certain extent - not until spectacular. For no one wants to see you better (best them)."
There's no need to accuse Puan Jahara and other opponents of his of trying to bully the Chief Minister, there's no need to, Lim Guan Eng was, is, and will continue to be, a victim of his own ..er..success. Checked.
Even his friends in PKR, let alone UMNO people who are supposedly the opposition, found it hard to swallow Lim's way of doing things even though they see nothing wrong with them. So...the PKR leader in Penang spelled it out what he thought of his PR colleague and how he believed the people (of Penang) generally feel about their extraordinary chief minister. "He's so respected and loved and maybe even feared as if a 'tokong' or deity." Checked.
The PKR leader didn't mean any harm, nor insult, by saying that. He meant Lim's deity is manifest in his actions. Checked.
If the Chief Minister is really as good as a deity he should grant Puan Jahara her request and apologize and move on. Lim may even earn her respect, grudgingly or not. And be friends instead of enemies. Checked.

Hillary Clinton To Flood America With Syrians too! Checked.
These women who protest at Trump's buildings are Hillary Clinton's red guards similar to Obama's red guards and Mao's red guards. Checked.
Although Clinton is not with them, she doesn't need to, yes, with the 2005 video that condemned Trump inappropriate behaviors and statements against women played 24/7 by the media there was absolute no need for her presence. She has used Billy Bush to instigate the naive women to frenzy - we don't know if quid pro quo was involved. Chances are it was. For one thing, something must have caused these women to be in such a frenzy in coming out to hurl vitriol at Trump whereas all this while they kept quiet about the incidents. Checked.
The the Trump Bashers media played that tape for weeks! If after such intense brain-washing they still view Trump as their god father, plastic saint, they are Mother Teresa MC themselves, known in the Catholic Church as Saint Teresa of Calcutta! Checked.
Of course, these women do respect Mother Teresa highly, but they also respect what Hillary Clinton can do for them! Checked.
Even former Miss Universe couldn't resist to be roped in by the Democratic nominee. Against being 'persuaded' to help the Democrats's candidate, she decided to be more grateful to Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump who intervened on her behalf when she was found to be too fat for Miss Universe standard, and was about to be axed but thanks to Trump she was allowed to exercise to shed her excess weight. She continued and even went on to win the pageant. Was she an ungrateful ..who could be roped in? You be the judge. Checked.
Now had anybody seen Hillary Clinton anywhere near the dressing room of Miss Universe then to fight for Ms Alicia Machado's right to continue to participate in the pageant? Checked.
None. Nobody else except Donald Trump who came to her aid then; but Ms Machado saw something in Hillary Clinton she could be grateful about. Of course, Ms Machado was innocent; she lashed out at Trump because she believed in the 2005 video masterfully presented by Billy Bush. Was that all, Miss Machado? Checked.
Was that all that propelled you to be an ungrateful person? She should know what Hillary Clinton's aims are; how unscrupulous, yet she lent her name to be soiled by the New York senator. How unscrupulous you are, too! This is Hillary Clinton's only advantage against Trump and she wants to exploit it to the full. Checked.
Fair-minded ladies, please don't play into the hands of the Democrats. They aren't angels themselves. Checked.
Just listen to this: When Obama wanted to launch his Obamacare to purportedly to help the poor or those Americans who habitually prefer not to be insured because it strains their finance, did Obama consult his colleagues the Democratic congressmen and senators? He must have, otherwise how to take the lead in explaining the benefits to the American people? Checked.
You must know something about Obama, in case you all haven't noticed yourself - Obama never used African-Americans to help him in any projects; obviously for fear of being rejected. Checked.
He believes there's no better way to get his unpalatable decision accepted than getting white people to do the donkey job for him - leading ordinary Americans to think Obama decision to implement this and that must be for the good, otherwise white politicians in the Democratic Party wouldn't allow them! Checked.
But they did. It's better not to trust the Democrats too much, like you did in the past. The present group of Democrats have few, if any, scruples. Checked.
They seemed to not care for its supporters who are Democratic voters themselves. They failed to scrutinize the problematic Obamacare from the start; so that they could spot benefits or pitfalls for the American people. If they were vigilant from the beginning and found something bad, they had not warned Obama or warned the subscribers to be careful before they commit. Checked.
All Democrats including Obama himself and Hillary Clinton had only said about Obamacare what they wanted the American subscribers to hear. "Everything proceeding fine; you can keep your own old policies or doctors if you so desire; you can save money, and the price will be stable always." All were lies! Checked.
Even just a week ago, Obama admitted that all was not well. The price shot up another 25% The state authorities were more blunt - "Obamacare is in shamble!" Checked.
Now all the Democrats such as Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton avoid talking about Obamacare like a plague. Checked.
Here's an analogy.
Hillary Clinton's use of old dusty videos and women to demonize and degrade Trump is analogous to her praise and endorsement of Obamacare to mislead the American people, and couldn't careless about their predicament after signing up. Checked.
The fooled subscribers who thought Obama meant what he said when he promised you could keep your old policy and doctors, and those who habitually didn't buy insurance could carry on as usual, were shocked when none of the promises were kept. Now they are staring at the Obama law which would punish law breakers harshly. Checked.
Can Hillary Clinton help these people? So far she didn't address these matters - probably not to appear heartless to these miserable people, for she couldn't do a thing. Silence is golden, for her election's sake. Checked.
If I were Trump, I would swoop in on this subject and skew Hillary relentlessly. No other subject frightens her more than being accused of negligence and betrayal against the American people. Checked.
It was the height of irresponsibility by the Democrats, all of them for failing in their duty to warn the American people what to expect if they sign up. Checked.
The American voters - both women and men - please don't make the same mistake twice. Time to experiment is over. Very over. Just look at your first in 2008, the world is in turmoil as the direct result of that. The Arab Spring, Invasion of Europe by Muslim refugees; the Syrian conflict with no end in sight; a prosperous Libya with the young enjoying free education up to university level carved up; peaceful Egypt where and when women could sunbath in bikinis in peace - in peace no more. Checked
All these good things had come to an end; history. Checked.
The world that you remembered had changed after the emergence of President Obama. The man who could influence anyone if he wants; if he can not convert you, he will compel you, or even kill you. Checked.
However, ladies and gentlemen, all is not lost. Your forefathers had seen to that. A US president whether black or white can not serve more than 8 years. Checked.
With the menace from Obama diminished, you are quite safe. Checked.
I mentioned 'quite' because the danger may still continue to come from his former secretary of state who will more than not carry out whatever Obama commands. Even after his days in the White House are almost over, he saw fit to send his wife the First Lady to help destroy Donald Trump. And what an effective campaigner for Hillary Clinton. The first lady also dwelled on Trump's repugnance to women in the major part of her speech. With no holds barred, she castrated Trump for Hillary Clinton's sake. Even her husband President Obama took turns to whack Donald Trump for their former secretary of state's sake. Or their own? Checked.
We should give a Nobel Prize to Hillary Clinton for her genius in coming up with this Trump destroyer strategy. It didn't pale even when compared to Obama's 2008 award-winning plot against John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin. Checked.
Did you remember that after he captured the White House, Obama went on to win the Nobel Prize. Yes he did; so fast he didn't have time to warm his presidential seat in the White House. Without having to show any exemplary deed or achievement; just won the White House, that's all - which he did by employing Whites, not African-Americans, to destroy his opponents' credibility. Checked.
