The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

President Trump didn't hesitate even a minute before backing Roy Moore's opponent, Luther Strange, for the Republican primary. But his move didn't surprise many. People speculate it was typical of Trump to say something, something at all, whether he knows all the facts or not, if provoked by a reporter. "That sounds like President Trump," people would opine or lament.
However, two accusers later, and plus the vigorous push-back campaign by Roy Moore's camp, President Trump began to learn more about his accusers and the accusations and it was enough for him to realize it was just a tactic or a series of tactics American politicians employ to prevail over their opponents!
The idea to shred your opponents' credibility to smithereens in order to defeat them...was invented by an Illinois senator called Barack Hussein Obama. He wanted to run for office of US president although he was told it was maybe a tall order. He lacked almost everything required for the campaign to be treated seriously or believed he's serious - He had no proof of high education; he had no wealth or wealthy sponsors to back him; he had no management skill and he never ran any organization before. And what's more, he had no social standing - none at all - compared to his rival Hillary Clinton who was a former first lady and a sitting New York senator. His bid therefore would be futile, they advised him.
To cut the story short, he used that idea with disastrous effect..for Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin Governor of Alaska and by extension, John McCain, in 2008.
As it turned out, with Hillary Clinton's and Sarah Palin's reputations in tatters, Obama deftly elbowed out John McCain to romp home to victory in the US 2008 Presidential election.
Compared to her opponent for Democratic nomination primaries in 2008, in which she was more or less a shoo-in as a nominee, her opponent in 2016, however, was hardly a push-over or a person with no social standing! She witnessed how Donald J. Trump systematically disposed of so many Republican presidential hopefuls that it gave her the jitters! But not for long! Then she vividly recalled the battle with Obama for the 2008 nomination, and knew she lost because of Obama's or his minions' dirty tactics against her!
Trump would be in for a surprise, she promised that to herself. She would use the same dirty tactics against Donald Trump! Keith Olbermann of MSNBC gave his all 24/7 to help elect Obama president by laying waste to his opponents. So, in panicked mode, Hillary Clinton roped in Barry Bush ironically also from MSNBC..to destroy Trump reputation to pave the way for her to be the 45th president! But it didn't work out. She even went all out - with no holds barred, if you will - by bringing even more women to slender candidate Trump, among them a former Miss Universe, who was ungrateful that she got to become Miss Universe only because Trump waved her through during the selection process!
Trump condemned these women as tools of Hillary Clinton and liars whom he vowed to sue everyone of them. Trump later triumphed against Hillary Clinton and became the 45th president of the US.
Later these women who kept quiet for 30 years after Trump allegedly kissed them in the mouth without their permission and gabbed them by their pussies, later were afraid Trump or President Trump by then, would initiate law suits against them. First they were comforted for a while by their (woman) lawyer who threatened President Trump if he did that she would go all out to undermine him in the eyes of women all over the country. But despite that the women (who obviously realized they had lied, recruited by Hillary Clinton to lie) were still afraid. So they discarded their lawyer or what she told them about Donald Trump or President Trump and went on TV to cry shamelessly, imploring President Trump to spare them!
That's what President Trump needed to hear, from the horses' mouth themselves. They lied! Hillary Clinton lied! Barry Bush lied!
The same thing could happen to Roy Moore's accusers. They waited 40 years before finding the reason to complain - to help the Democrats' candidate Doug Jones win.
But Roy Moore should know no newspapers not supporting the Democrats or The Left. Even the Good paper like Fox News, don't trust it 100%. A lot of the staff belong to the Democrats in some way. For instance, you can't depend on Fox News to be fair to you when their being unfair to you bring them benefit. It's all about money. Like so when Fox News reported Steve Bannon comment in support of Judge Roy Moore..about Judge Roy accusers and Hillary Clinton mobilized Trump accusers being the same recruited to do a job, Fox News reported that Trump had yet to file lawsuits like he said he would and left it at that. If Fox News would be kind enough to report also that Trump had decided to pardon his accusers after they cried shamelessly on TVs begging for forgiveness, it would help promote justice. But Fox News didn't, maybe it forgot or was deliberate we could only guess?
You don't need rocket science to figure out why the Washington Post published the damning piece on Candidate Roy Moore. It wanted to derail Roy Moore's election to the Senate, like it did to candidate Donald J. Trump a year ago although it didn't succeed .. for a reason. I would leave to you readers to figure out yourself what that reason was? It openly searched high and low for dirt on Roy Moore and found what it was looking for in Leigh Corfman. Corfman could be lying as coached by the Washington Post. She was obviously being used by someone who led the women like sheep to the slaughterhouse to meet the eager, waiting Washington Post reporters. Her complaint about being uncomfortable being alone with Roy Moore seemed staged or coached, unreal. It couldn't be true that 32-year-old man seemed too old or unattractive to be repugnant for her. She could in all probability be lying she didn't find Roy Moore attractive but followed him to his apartment because he compelled her in some way to do as he said. But even her own mother didn't report anything amiss, such as her daughter confided in her about Moore's threats - implied or otherwise - to force her to relent or not object to his behaviors towards her! Nothing! So to be fair to Roy Nancy Wells should ask her daughter to call the newspaper and say she wants to retract her story. Before it's too late, that is. Before they damage to the man's political career over a mere fabrication is done. They don't have to cry on TV like those women who were used by Hillary Clinton a year ago. Just tell the newspaper to publish your intention to retract the story against Judge Roy. If the Washington Post refuses, go to Fox news or Breitbart owned by Steve Bannon.
Leigh Corfman, if you value fair play and justice, do something or the Democrats are going to win, with your help. Checked.
Even if your story was true, the meeting took place, including the hanky-panky you mentioned, it couldn't happen without your consent. And your defense now that you didn't like it and wanted to get out of there (Roy's apartment) and that you felt nauseating making love to or made love to by an older man, whichever happened, not believable. How did you know Roy was 32 years old? Have you met his wife who was in her thirties and guessed his age from hers? I don't believe if you say Judge Roy was attracted to you but you are not but still followed him to his apartment more than once where nobody would know or see what's going on in there? So far, from the day the Washington Post broke the story until this moment you mentioned nothing about his warlord-like behavior. In fact, nobody recalls you say anything bad about Judge Roy Moore..except I felt excited and then I wanted to get out, which you didn't. You and your mother Nancy Wells didn't report any threat of bodily harm issued against you both by Judge Roy.
Let me tell an anecdote to close my article. When I was in my early thirties, 32 as was Roy Moore to be exact, I used to date teenagers - as young as fifteen but mostly 16 to 18. The girls brought me home to meet their parents. No parent or parents ever objected to their daughters going out with an older man. Maybe the parents mistook me for a youth of twenty or something. I don't know. I didn't think so, but I admit I was an extremely youthful and youthful-looking man when I was thirty something and easy-on-the eye too. I recall an evening when we - my girlfriend and her older sister (of around 29) and I - were having supper at an open-air restaurant. The light was bright and I happened to look at the older girl's hands, especially the one next to mine, and couldn't help comparing her hand with mine. Mine was whiter and smoother even though the girl was a beautician!
That summed up how I looked (to be able to sweep those teenagers off their feet. But be careful if you want to try it at home.
I am not, I repeat I am not, suggesting that Roy Moore looked or behaved like me forty years ago and that he did really take the fourteen year old girl back to his apartment. Only Leigh Corfman and Judge Roy Moore know if those dates took place.
All my gang who hang out with me were mostly a decade younger than me. All I needed then if I wanted to appear in public with a teenager of 15, 16 or 18, was to wear a sport white short pant, a white round-collar T-shirt and a matching color sport shoes and I can match any girl in looks or youthfulness.
Hypothetically, Judge Roy Moore could be like me - young and youthful like a youth. Otherwise, without Leigh Corfman inviting him in her movement or eye contact, and he looked old and stinks, it couldn't happen. He wouldn't go for her, no, not in a million years. No sane man would do that for it wouldn't serve any purpose the girl would run away and he wouldn't see her again..except if he waited for her somewhere and kidnapped her!
On the contrary, Roy Moore looked like me and smelled like me when I was 32, and Leigh Corfman found him not old but young, handsome and attractive, enough to be his date and even accompanied him to his apartment, a secret hideout! For what? To make love. She allowed him to touch her breasts and private part, while he guided her hands to his penis. Forgive me if I am wrong, if two persons engaged in such steamy petting session, they would sure end up making love. But so far Leigh Corfman or the Washington Post stopped short of saying it! Why? Because as Judge Roy said, nothing happened. I am not saying here too that he did take her to his apartment and then nothing happened. If he admitted that he did take her to his apartment but didn't do anything, it would still have served the purpose of the Washington Post. If he did, why, and why she wanted to go there? If all these things did happen, she must have told someone. Her classmate, her mother, or confessed to her church. None so far; so the only way is to tell the Washington Post she has changed her mind.
It's too late to change the story that she did confide in someone and to bring forth a fake confidant! It will be too late since she had waited too long, and at best just an after-thought, nobody would believe her.Period. But here's a thing: American women, or white women for that matter, mostly are dumb and benighted lot, all of them everywhere - whether in United Kingdom or here in Amerrica or Canada - they are not only crueless but vindictive. Their handlers could have poisoned their minds to throw Judge Roy under the bus because he was on their loved-to-hate President Trump's side, and if they vote Roy Moore it means they vote for Trump!
