Again, this proved that the Malaysian Chinese Association has really completely lost its usefulness. If a small matter like Jonker Walk closure was beyond its power then, that 's it.

The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

Hillary Clinton Angela Merkel Of America Who Will Flood America With Syrians too! Checked.
Obama is the cause of the present upheaval in the world. He instigated the Arabs in the streets to take arms against their their governments and by extension launched or caused to happen the Arab Spring. Checked.
He had been crazy about reviving the glories of Islam which he never tires of referring to as his ancestors' religion. Checked.
He's also the one that invented the stories about Muslims being treated badly by successive, past American presidents. Vowing everywhere he happened to speak to Arab audience, he's going to atone for the sins and correct the wrongs. Checked.
Without saying it, he meant to help his Muslim brothers and sisters to be repaid in full whether in blood or otherwise the injustice perpetrated by the West. Ironically he's a leader of the West and yet was baying for blood of the West or asking the Arabs in the Streets to launch the war to cause blood shed in the country he now enjoy a life of comfort provided by white Christians! Checked.
He was a man out of his mind to form a coalition of the willing, to intervene in Libya, Egypt and Syria to foment rebellion from scratch to topple governments just because they are secular. And as a result, unleash millions of Muslim refugees to flood the West. Everyone knows, Qaddafi has been the reason why western Europe was not overrun by Syrian and African refugees, and yet President Obama chose to remove him! Checked.
Saying Qaddafi, that Qaddafi was amassing troops to go into East Libya to seek and destroy from house to house those who opposed him, he galvanized Britain, France, and to a less extend, Canada and other European countries, to try to depose Col. Qaddafi by hook or crook - dead or alive. He then claimed up to seventy-five thousands Eastern Libyans would die unless the world did something. And he was able to use good English to warn the international community the blood of the Libya would stain our hands forever! Checked.
A no-fly zone was then quickly agreed to by the three countries as represented by British prime minister David Cameron, President Sarkozy of France, and President Obama of the US, to protect civilians. But it was just a lie. When asked at a press conference why Qaddafi's armor were bombed by NATO when the said intention of setting up the NO-FLY zone was to prevent Qaddafi planes from bombing civilians, the three cahoots said in unison that "Well..we lied!" They lied in the United Nations otherwise other countries with veto powers would stop their plans.
So, it was clear from these examples that these leaders had no scruples. They can lie anytime anywhere to achieve their goals. Checked.
We are glad that karma had caught up with three of them. The first was Liam Fox who was bundled out in shame not so long ago, while President of France was kicked by French voters not long after. Even prime minister was more or less punished for his misdeeds; he lost his job! Only the leader of the pack was still unscathed. Maybe the punishment in the form of Hillary Clinton loss in the November GE which means saying goodbye to his pet Obamacare, would be his just dessert! Checked.
Let's pray that the American voters won't try another experiment on a woman (this time). If they heard about the hacked emails they should know Hillary if she's elected promises to launch a war against Syria to help the IS, Muslim Brotherhood and other terrorist groups fighting against Assad which could endanger your loved ones if they are conscripted to serve in the army, navy or air force. She knew President Assad had been supplied with the deadly 400 missile systems which will shoot down American planes and yet she is asking for war with Syria. And the fact that Russian air force are also bombing Assad's foes in Syria which could pose danger to your sons and daughters if they should come face to face. Checked.
If you vote for Hillary she also promised to allow up to 70,000 Syrian refugees to enter the US annually. Checked.
There's no explanation why she agreed to bring in so many Syrians. There were daily reports of Syrian refugees causing the most problems in Europe. There were wide spread rapes in Europe now mostly perpetrated by Syrian emigrants. In one case involving a teenager he raped a white girl - the second day after he arrived from Syria! Checked.
Two countries in Europe now (and another may also follow suit), they decided enough is enough - to stop accepting Muslim refugees into their countries. They also have started the process to send back up to 80,000 immigrants each in the coming days, weeks or months. Checked.
Are you sure, you are going to vote for Hillary Clinton after she admits she will agree to bring in up to 70,000 Syrians yearly? Checked.

The Obamacare And Its Ambiguous Pitching And Increasing Premiums
Hillary Clinton Equally To Blame For Obamacare Debacle

Those who vote for Hillary Clinton do so in futility; it won't do any good as she hasn't said anything about abrogating the burden-some Obamacare that everyone knows and believes now it's never intended to help the poor or the uninsured to insure themselves so that they can turn to in time of need.
It was in fact lied by President Obama with the straight face that Obamacare or its legislation would not force people to abandon their old insurance or doctor and be forced to signup for Obamacare.
Obama managed to put many Americans at ease due to this promise. Did Obama keep his word? No! His promise of even the moon in the beginning was later reneged by Obama and his white assistants. The operative word was to help the poor or those who opted to not buy insurance. But in reality to con them to change; from being not interested to insure themselves to being interested and persuaded to embrace Obamacare with many promises such as reasonable and stable prices, few if any were true or kept.
Now after many years and many broken promises later, the Obamacare never cares about people like its name says at all. Now there's no doubt everyone agrees all who signed willingly or were forced were lied to and cheated. Now everyone is praying for a white knight to come charging and rescuing them the victimized believers of Obama's ambiguous pitching for his pet project Obamacare - unflinchingly backed by all Democrats including Hillary Clinton.
I don't think all the Democrats such as Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton are dump people or were temporarily dump when Obama asked them to support his Obamacare and did as asked. They are well -read people they can't deny now they had no idea what Obamacare was all about, whether it would help the poor Americans as trumpeted by President Obama. If they had doubt they should not go along with Obama's plan; if they were in doubt they should not encourage or allow the poor Americans to sign up for something which they now don't need and yet can not get out. They - the Democrats including the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton - committed negligence of duty to their Democratic members, supporters, American citizens at large and the United States of America. They should lose Congressional and Senate seats, and Hillary Clinton her presidential bid, as punishment.
There should be no compromise; they should not try to argue their way out like Obama does that not everything about Obamacare is bad. But the main point is they - Obama and his Democratic leaders - lied about the goodness of Obamacare - by being ambiguous about everything in the beginning to lure people to sign up. Once done and dusted they were abandoned, or threatened with law to compel adherence. That's why during the campaign for November election Hillary Clinton needs to mount a vigorous campaign to create a din to soil Trump's name and reputation by playing those old videos featuring those roped in women to attack Trump for bad-mouthing them or kissing them in the mouths which they were OK with when it happened, to cover up the faults and increasing cost of Obamacare. The American people should not forget about this betrayal by the Democrats. Checked. Do you wish to know more?

After a negotiation which took a while - while the fate of IMDB and by extension, the fate Malaysia's banking system hangs in the balance - Datuk Seri Ananda Krishnan gave his nod.
Why he took so long? Can't you figure that out yourself? It's to extract maximum result, of course; how do you think Bumiputra Status was given to Indians - their birthright?
Who's privy to the behind the scene brainstorming (the negotiation) before the word "deal" was uttered by the Indian tycoon - could they enlighten us the total cost the IMDB - and by extension, Malaysian government - have to pay besides declaring the Tamils as sons and daughters of soil, which entitles them to become prime ministers, for the bailout?
By the way, the Chinese should not be overly jealous of the Tamils as their tycoon was very generous which gladdened UMNO's heart no end. There are no reasons why the Chinese should not show UMNO they also can be helpful if UMNO found themselves in tight corner again.
The Chinese tycoons could get UMNO interested by hiring a journalist to highlight who are the ten richest men in Malaysia and then featuring themselves on the list, of course. Then all they have to do is sit tight and wait..for a delude of phone calls which are sure to come.
There are many rich Chinese in Malaysia - that's why they are deemed as controlling the economy - quite few may even be richer than Ananda Krishnan - among them sugar king of Malaysia Robert Kuok - who could earn the bumiputra status for the Chinese, too, when the time comes.
Then when it's over, the Chinese can also be accused of controlling political power, as well, after one of them becomes prime minister!
Then maybe a genuis UMNO leader would come along to mine the bumiputra status like a "Tin Pan" propecting for gold in 'Pale Rider' and goes to town to offer, sic, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein's invention, Bumiputra Status, for sale to the highest bidder. And unlike the original Bumiputra Status, there will be no discrimination - all, including Chinese or Chinese companies from China, qualify!
All you need is money and your problems are solved. Money really can buy everything! Checked.
