The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

'It's over For Obamacare,' Trump says after Big Hike In Premiums.
Yes, that should be Trump's new way of campaigning for the general election. Hit where it hurts the Democrats most, and Hillary Clinton is the face of Democratic party now.
Keep mentioning her name in relation to Obamacare and she will suffer. Don't close any campaign without taking Obama and, by extension, Hillary Clinton, to task for coming out with this half- baked insurance plan. Of course Hillary Clinton will wish you never mention this Obamacare. It's like an albatrous around her neck. That's why the the Clinton camp have gone all out to allege this and that, and don't forget the Clintons have a inexshaustible war chest. They will spend any amount and on anyone who cares to be roped in to do their dirty work for them.
Like they fooled the ex-Miss Universe to lend a hand by attacking Trump. All because she was insulted by Clinton mentioning her name during the Presidential Debate. Actually there's no relevance at all between Alicia Machido and Donald Trump.
But by invoking Trump ever calling Miss Machido fat, or Miss Piggy, Clinton was playing with her emotion. The Democratic Party's nominee thought of using her to inflict harm on Trump's campaign through making use of the ex-Miss Universe 's anger, and she felt for it!
What a pathtic figure; even her photo was shot almost at shoulder level, to probably hide her plump body. So she was well aware that she's fat but that doesn't mean she will take kindly to anyone calling her fat.
She lashed out at Trump because she was told (instigated) by Hillary Clinton that Donald Trump looked down on her - and called her 'Piggy!' - not because she harbored any hatred against Trump, or Trump had bullied her as she claimed.
In fact what transpired was she as a not very bright person, in fact very naive, allowed an unscrupulous person (Clinton) to infect her to be the same with Hillary Clinton - unscrupulous. Why else she responded to a mention of her in the Presidential Debate with malice for a man who actually helped save her job when she was about to be fired.
Let's hope the American people disregard this so-called ex-Miss Universe would wouldn't have been chosen as Miss Universe if not for the timely intervention by Donald Trump. View her as a person bought or coaxed to say what she blurted out against Trump who she knows is Hillary opponent.
Just ignore her. She has clearly been coached to say what she says because according to leaked Hillary Clinton's emails revealed by Wikileaks, the plan to use this ungrateful ex-Miss Universe had been planned for months!
As for Miss Alicia, was she aware what a Clinton presidency will mean to the world. As president she will put her foot down to save Obamacare which everyone knows was no good at all; continue with Obama's style of being soft on Muslims whether Jihadist or not; allow Muslim emigration under the pretext of saving the Syrian refugees, for instance; and these same refugees once they have settled down and grown into a bid community will start making unreasonable demands; and if their demands are not met they will start creating unrest and may even rape women and girls or kill Americans like what had happened in Sweden and Switzerland; and the worst part is she will continue to suppress American whites like Obama had been doing for eight years; the Muslims will enjoy same rights as white Americans or even better rights than what Whites enjoy during Obama's eight years.
Ms Alicia, you have become American citizen, so one day your own off-springs will suffer along with other white Americans because you and your family are not Muslims. Obama only exempt Muslims from this regulation and that.
Even Obamacare also granted a lot of favor for the Muslims. Why should they be granted special favor they are not even original Americans? Because they are Muslims and Obama vowed to bring back the ancient glories of his ancestors' religion.
Obama grind ed his teeth one day not too long ago when he addressed the black African-American community. ..."Don't worry a day will come when the Whites cannot look down on blacks anymore. I will see to it the White's society will be curbed to reduce their affluence and dignity; so that the African-Americans will rise to become as dignified and equal as Whites, if not more after I am done! Alicia, I urge you to retract what you said about Trump so that he would have a fighting chance to compete toe to toe with Hillary Clinton. Call him now and make amend. Or get in touch with Fox News to call a press conference to undo what harm has been done to Trump, even if there's quid pro quo involved, never mind, the American people will donate the amount to refund the Clinton camp. But hurry, time is running out. I personally admit that if Donald Trump loses is his own fault for not aggressively rebutting those women who accused Trump of touching them or outraging their modesty and as soon as possible. For instance, did Trump know that the 2005 was leaked to the Washington Post by NBC which used to be MSNBC, an unflinching Obama front line soldier for Obama, especially in 2008.
Remember, you vote Hillary Clinton is same like voting for Obama to continue with his destruction of non-Muslim white society. The same can be said for Angela Murkel who turned Europe upside down right now also another Obama student. Do you know, Alicia, that Obama was so protective of Muslims, including Muslim Americans, to the extreme that he ordered Eric Holder the Attorney General to come out with a ridiculous regulation banning bad-mouthing of Muslims - whether they have committed any wrong-doings or not. They are in short above the law. It's up to you, Alicia, as an American citizen, be grateful for being allowed to obtain US citizenship. Do something for your adopted country - help Donald Trump to be president. He had promised to stem the Muslim emigration flow to America, which right now is causing havocs and alarms in Europe. Don't listen to Hillary Clinton. She is Obama in disguise. According to Wikileaks, she makes lots of money selling arms to IS which Obama protects rather than wants to destroy. Which means this lady cannot be trusted. Don't fail Donald Trump. Don't fail America. Don't fail your future generations. As a matter of fact, Hillary Clinton is not a devil by nature, and we should not find her presidency objectionable, if, yes, if she is a person of strong characters. Can lead America to a new glory without her succumbing to threat or pressure from anyone, even Obama during her administration. But sadly she is far from being that resolute person. Perhaps when she was just a New York state senator, she could be American president just fine. However, after Obama roped her into his cabinet as Secretary of State, everything changed. She did all Obama's bidding with out showing any reluctance, even in something which repels her. To tell lies to get her way! Checked. Do you wish to know more?
