The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

They Even Attempt To Rope in Putin To Damage Trump's Chances
Now that Donald Trump had issued threats to take to court all his accusers who everyone including Trump's campaign, knows they have been 'roped in' to do the hatchet job for Hillary Clinton, the Obama-Clinton camp decided to change tactics. Not only the sustained campaign of airing old videos and old statements uttered by Trump years ago when Trump was not known to have political ambition, have lost their appeal as well as their effectiveness in throwing mud at the Republican candidate, they roped in Russia's president Putin next to be used against Trump Apparently failed to persuade Putin to say bad things about Trump, they decided to say bad things about Putin instead, such as accusing the Russian president as interfering in the November GE. But then don't be surprised if they start singing the praises of Putin rapturously again after Putin says or does something in their favor - it can be anything; it can be a slip of the tongue that Donald Trump assures him that if elected president he won't mind too much for Assad to continue as Syrian president as long as he is legitimately elected by majority Syrians in open and free elections - which they can exploit by branding Trump as traitor to American cause. Or. the Russian leader may praise Trump for his management skill in doing business but at the same time deploring his anti- women tones or behaviors. The fact that Obama and his long time stooge Hillary Clinton, will do anything - anything at all - to prevail, shows how desperate they are. Their untiring looking for an opportunity to undermine Trump at every nook and corner is unprecedented. This may mean that the stakes are high, very high - they want to forestall people from peering into their joint closet. Hillary obeys Obama because he was her boss for four years and she knows he knew what she had done or shouldn't have done then (as secretary of state). Obama is not afraid of Hillary but wants to help her win for his own selfish interest/s. There are many things that may unravel if Trump is elected. As president he has absolute power to do anything - order nuclear strikes, wage wars against Russia or China - anything, including abrogating the Obamacare! That's why it doesn't pay to vote Hillary who is well-known Obama stooge to be president of the world's only super power. It's risky due to her character which seemed to be weak especially when she deals with Obama. For Obama though his days in the White House are coming to an end, still has spirit and interest in it. Though it's unprecedented for ex-presidents to feel that way, Obama doesn't think so. He has contributed so much whether people love or hate it, what he contributed, and he feels he still can continue to contribute namely through being an adviser to Hillary Clinton; so that she won't do a stupid thing to squander her chance, and by extension, possibly cause the demise of his beloved Obama care. Ladies and Gentlemen, have you noticed (yet) what Obama has done to your freedom of speech and religion? Can you make a statement bad-mouthing the Muslims in America if you feel strongly about a situation? No, you can not. Says Obama. Have you heard, Eric Holder the Attorney General has warned Americans he would not hesitate to prosecute anyone who bad-mouths Muslims! People protested against Muslims building a mosque next to the Hallowed Ground, Obama sided with the Muslims. Saying Muslims have as much rights as other Americans to build their mosques wherever they wish. When Pastor Jones stepped forward to say God had whispered to him to threaten to burn the Koran unless imam Feisal Abdul Raub cancels his plan, was later destroyed by Obama - financially and socially and religiously. He again made use of white people to harm white people. He again turned to the infamous MSNBC journalist Katie Couric who destroyed Sarah Palin's credibility by asking the former Alaska governor whether she has ever read a newspaper or a magazine, and the network ran that interview tape for weeks 24/7 before the GE in 2008, to take care of Pastor Jones' reputation. And again, Katie Couric didn't disappoint her employer - in her going to Germany to dig up some dirty laundry items when rumors broke that the pastor had ever served in Germany, managed to find some incriminating evidence of the pastor's past. Such was their zeal (Obama's zeal) to seek high and low to find any incriminating information that they can use against his enemies. (Even Hillary Clinton once suffered at the hands of Obama herself. During the fight for Democratic presidential nomination Obama used his hatchet forces against Hillary Clinton as well as John McCain's presidential running mate with deadly effect. Hillary even told Obama to contrast his abilities with hers - not to lay to waste her credibility - to win the nomination. Has Hillary gone back on her own word? by using dirty tactics to destroy Donald Trump 's credibility?) Anyway, before you vote Clinton into office, you must know what you're in fact getting yourselves into. Please Don't make the same mistake the American voters did in 2008 namely in experimenting on a black man as president. And you know, I know, everybody does, it was a disaster! Just one example - he rammed the Obamacare down the throats of Americans and followed by legislation supported wholesale by Democrats including Hillary Clinton, threatening severe punishment for non-abide-rs. This Obama pet project caused financial disasters for many Americans for they are not allowed to skip buying insurance as in the old days. But Americans are fair-minded people; if Obama wanted people to obey his law, fine, no problem. But the law must be applied fairly without discrimination. But Obama cleverly used white people, as usual, including the democrats such Harry Reed and Hillary Clinton, to offer rationale to grant exemption to the tiny Muslim community by the pretext of saying Muslims view insurance as sin since it's a form of gambling to them. If Obama agrees with the Muslim contention, fine, so be it. Obamacare law doesn't apply to them, but then they must not enjoy the protection of that law; when they are sick they cannot claim discount in medical fees covered by Obamacare insurance. But Obama uses a loophole in law to help the Muslims by saying the federal government health agency will pick up the tap! That's not fair!Do you wish to now more? And..the worst thing of all, Obama treats Whites or non-Muslims as if they are minorities living in a Muslim majority country! The tiny American Muslim community is less than 1% of American population! Even if they are 10% of total population, they are still a minority how can they treat white Americans of 250 millions as dhimmitudes? And how can the Democratic party or democrats go along with this injustice against the majority? Because of Obama? Ladies and Gentlemen, remember this: Don't vote for Hillary Clinton. Remember how Angela Merkel caused the chaos in Europe by apply the doctrine Obama imparted to her. I agree Obama kind of possessing magical powers to control or subdue people; but don't worry you are lucky in that you don't have to deal with Obama directly. Just reject his stooge and you are safe. Before I go here is an anecdote to illustrate how powerful is Obama in bringing his opponents to heel. After the 2008 General Election where Obama and John McCain slugged it out to get the upper hand of one another. Obama prevailed because he wanted so much to be president (to bring glories back to his ancestors' religion), so by hook or crook he had to win and he did; while McCain wanted a little bit to be president, too, so he ran a lackluster campaign squandering his and his running mate's chances. This the example of a person who was not born to be president. He will more than do something to sabotage his own chance. The same thing can be said about Hillary Clinton not made to be president. Unlike John McCain, she wants to be president so bad she didn't wait to contrast her capabilities with those of Trump's for the voters to judge but went back on her own principle when she used Billy Bush or used NBC to use Billy Bush to do those dirty deeds to shred Trump's credibility to smithereens, to get her way. Her bad report card is however her apparent subservience to her former boss, Obama. Checked. Do you wish to know more?
