The following stories may fire your imagination, pique your interest. Some say 1MDB is Malaysia's Sovereign Wealth fund; to others they asked what wealth fund when its total capitalization is just One million ringgit? But, then again, if you think you can look down on the pet idea of the Malaysian prime minister, think again. His idea has the potential of turning the now world famous - or shall we say, infamous - 1Malaysia Development Berhad into a giant corporation you can ever imagine - even bigger than Bill Gate's Microsoft! At least, it could be, if the original course is stayed. It was supposed to inspire Malaysians to think big besides advance growth, according to its slogans screaming out of giant bill boards throughout the country. 'Backed' by the finance ministry who owns it - which means money will never be the problem - it can only succeed. But..it didn't. It failed! That's why it may have piqued many people's curiosity. How can a company flush with cash and can borrow any amount (billions) anytime could fail? Well, this may be in line with your thinking. People have seen since its inception - I mean after its name was changed in 1999 from Trengganu Investment Authority (TIA) to the present - it hasn't done any business! I have used present tense deliberately. It hasn't done any business yet. I mean if you are in business you need to make profit or find ways to make profit. Or close shop. Oh, I had heard about their filings of tax returns and hiring of a couple of internationally known auditors to sign off on their balance sheets; but these concerned only the company's borrowings and interests to be paid. Two massive bonds were issued to the tune of $7 billions. To buy up power plants. Again I want to say if you are in business to make money even investing in independent Power Plants, it should be done with the view to making a profit. The decision may be long term or short term, it doesn't matter, it has to make money, or no deal. May be they have done the right thing. Maybe luck was not on their side. Still, the amount is staggering. I didn't know having or managing so much money can be a problem! But many - especially the Malays - have not given up hope yet. Yes, may be the durians are just ripening; may be they need time and may fall soon!

Malaysia's Vision 2020

Malaysia is supposed to be on its way to becoming a developed nation, by the year 2020. Will she make it (in less than five years -tick-tuck, tick-tuck)? There is no doubt the year 2020 is coming whether the country is ready or not, and if that will be the only requirement then Malaysia will attain that developed nation status on schedule. There is a question, though, Will Malaysia, or Malaysians, for that matter, be ready for that status as far as their affluence, quality of life's concern? Currently Malaysia's GNI per capita stood at US$10060. According to the World Bank high income economies are those with GNI per capita of US$12,745. And until Malaysians earn much more to be there, the developed nation status may not be achieved even by the year 2020. The futility of declaring a country a high income country when it's not, achieves nothing. May be even counter-productive; it lulls the country into false sense of success and premature celebration. Don't forget China reportedly overtook Japan as the world's second largest economy, but in actual fact China's citizens' ca pita income is a fraction of the incomes of the Japanese who earn $37,000. Chinese incomes range from $13,000. China's gross domestic product, taken as a whole, may beat Japan's, but in term of quality of life, and GNI per capita income, the criteria for a developed nation status, China still has a lot of catching up to do. That's why China still qualifies as recipient of Japan's economic aid meant for developing countries. Comparing with the Chinese per capita domestic product, Malaysia is even worse off. Unless the government bucks up and rushes to create more wealth for its citizens, the Vision 2020 dream may remain just that ..a dream.

Of Course, To Get Girls Interested You Need Something - One Or Two - in Your Favor: Looks, Wealth Or A Profuse Talker, A Storyteller Would Be Fine!
In my heydays I have everything a good, exciting life requires - easy on the eye looks, money, a sense of humor; ability to come up with stories anytime any place on any subject. Telling stories or even just talking non-stop can help make dates fun or at least, bearable for the girls. This ability to crack jokes or spin a yarn came in handy for my dating life. Because of it I never faced difficulty in finding girlfriends. Checked.
Unlike many boys who would fall for the first girl they set eyes on, I was spoiled for choice! I remember when I sometimes took my shy friends on sex tours to Haadyai or Thailand' border towns, I found out what love at first sight means. Checked.
As soon as my friends saw the bevy of teenage Thai beauties the house had to offer they without ado chose the very first ones they lay eyes on! No amount of advice to hold on..until they have viewed all the girls available, moved them but fell on deaf ears. Checked.
My friends were too infatuated but thought it was love at first sight to care whether other girls they have have yet to see might be even more beautiful - they were love-starved, if not sex- starved, if you will. When I persisted that may be other girls could be even more tempting, their answers were in unison: "We have no need for other girls, or even want to look at them, for that matter!"
There you have it. Some boys are not so choosy but, actually, they are good marriage material for girls looking for like partners, as they are the marrying types. Most are of course ordinary looking fellows, though some may have a decent looks. But again good looks while rank as the #1 want everybody craves for be it for girls or boys, is not enough to win girls or make a Miss Right or Mr. Right. Beside looks alone while could set hearts on fire if you happen look like a Brad Pitts, could not guarantee the relationship will go far, let alone lead to marriage. Checked.
You will need to have some college education or a full college degree. Which makes a girl conjure up a picture of you holding down good job - a good provider, if you will. She may not spell it out in black and white but it's accepted that if you set up home and raise a family, you will have all kinds of bills to pay. And if you are handsome but of lowly education and not smart, girls may go out with you but to show off their handsome boyfriends only! And if you show signs that you are thinking of taking the plunge and propose to them, they would simply say they are not the marrying kind (like yours truly!) and/or ask you to plunge into the Snake River Canyon, instead! Checked.
Be A storyteller To Snare Your Future Bride
I am convinced, though, if you could light up parties with people eagerly lapping up your stories, and make people laugh, you don't need to be rich, a university professor or an extremely good-looker. Checked.
I am telling the truth, from experience if you will. Checked.
You have heard about Tiger Woods cheating on his wife. There were persistent rumors about the golf legend having affairs with beautiful waitresses, which turned out to be true. Tiger Woods and his girlfriends even flew 9,437 miles (16.85 hours to arrive) to meet at a secret rendezvous in Australia!. Nothing is too much when it comes to love. Checked.

You know who is Tiger Woods, don't you? I bet you do, for he was the greatest golfer ever lived. Checked.
He was so great as player that he didn't need to play to earn money. All golf tournaments need to be able to announce Tiger Woods was coming or would be one of the players. To ensure good sponsorship and by extension, good prizes - which attract high caliber golfers to enter. But to do that you are going to need Woods' permission. And that permission comes at a cost - a very high cost, millions if you will. It's called gracing the event fee. If he decided to play he could also win the top prize at anything from $10 to $20 million. Checked.
Any way you look at it, Woods is the winner - laughing his way to the bank always, if you will. That's spoils of being the greatest golfer of the world. Checked.
As you can see, money means little to him; he has more than he needs, but love does, a lot. Checked.
When a man achieved his ultimate success his first thought would be love, with whom to share his success, glory; and then maybe to sire a few Tiger Woods juniors as future golf legends to grace future sold-out golf tournaments! Evidently he's married with Elin Nordegren and already could have born him a son, but when a man had succeeded, and Tiger Woods had more than any golfers of his time, he needed more than home-cooked meals, he needed spices (of life!). But even just one of his girlfriends would be enough to satisfy his awaken loin; but that not to be the case for Woods! Checked.
He was not only an acclaimed golfer - he was man sexually on fire. Checked.
